BCS Fundraisers & Charity Events

At BCS, we desire for our students to engage in both our school community, the community at large, and the global community.  One way we foster this sense of connection and citizenship is through a variety of fundraisers and charity events.  The following are just a few of the events BCS has sponsored over the years!

50s Diner

This annual all-school fan-favorite is an opportunity for our school community to get together in a fun, family atmosphere, enjoy a burger and a root beer float, and dress up in your favorite poodle skirt or blue suede shoes!

Pennies for Patients

Each year, our Elementary school students participate in this worthy fundraiser, with proceeds going to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The BCS Jog-A-Thon is our major annual fall fundraising event.  Each student participating receives a Jog-a-Thon t-shirt, and prizes are awarded for different category winners (most laps run, most pledges collected, etc.).  Funds raised are used to enhance technology and learning in the classrooms.

Operation Christmas Child

Each November, our upper division students collect shoeboxes filled with toys, hygiene products and clothing, to be distributed to needy children around the globe.
