A child's early years are formative years.
At Bethel, our programs are full of social interaction, intellectual growth, exploration, physical activity, artistic experimentation, and spiritual guidance - to set a solid foundation for future success in all facets of your child's life.
Children who learn to love books from an early age are more likely to become successful learners and life-long readers. Preschool children visit our Library weekly, and are introduced to a variety of stories that develop their vocabulary, comprehension, and knowledge about literature.
Performing Arts and Music
Early music training has been shown to enhance learning within the linguistics, reasoning, and spatial intelligence centers of the brain, resulting in greater academic success.
At BCS, we are dedicated to enhancing creative talents within your child. In weekly Music classes, children are introduced to instruments, composers, and the basics of music theory. Students also prepare for and perform in various programs throughout the year.
Private Music Instruction
Private music lessons are a wonderful way for your child to develop their artistic abilities and enhance their education. Learning to read music and play an instrument yields improved concentration, attention to detail, self-discipline, and achievement through hard work. Starting in Preschool and Kindergarten, children may take private piano lessons. These lessons are once a week for 30 minutes and may take place before school, after school, or during recess. Our goal is to provide these lessons without interfering with classroom instruction. For more information or to sign up, please contact the School Office.
Spiritual and Character Development
Character traits and biblical principles are taught through daily Bible lessons and weekly Chapels. Children are introduced to biblical truths through age-appropriate stories, songs, and scripture memorization.
